Mobility for Life Target Groups
To apply for a scholarship under the Mobility for Life project, you must belong to one of the following Target Groups. Note: if you are from Target Group 1 or 2, you can also be part of Target Group 3:
Target Group 1
Students and academic staff currently registered in one of the universities/institutions who are members of the partnership. Please note that you must provide documents that prove that you are currently enrolled at or employed by one of the partner universities. Scholarships are offered at the following levels: Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate, Post-Doctorate, Academic staff.
Target Group 2
Asian nationals who are studying or have a degree from an Asian higher education institution that is not a partner university; Asian nationals who have finished their degree at a partner university and are no longer enrolled in one; Asian nationals who are working in public administration, public and private enterprises. Scholarships are offered at the following levels: Master, Doctorate, Post-Doctorate. Proof for belonging to Target Group 2 could be a paper documenting enrollment or employment or a copy of your university ID card.
Target Group 3
Nationals of the Asian countries in the consortium, who are in particularly vulnerable situation, for political or economic reasons or because of physical disabilities. For example:
- Having status of refugee or asylum beneficiary (international or according to the national legislation of one of the European recipient countries.) or
- It can be proved that they have been the object of unjustified expulsion from university on grounds of racial, ethnic, religious, political, gender or sexual inclination or
- They belong to an indigenous population targeted by a specific national policy or IDPs (internationally Displaced Persons)
Scholarships are offered at the following levels: Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate, Post-doctorate.
Please note the following
- While Target Group 1 applies to both Asian and European applicants, Target groups 2 and 3 only apply to Asian applicants.
- All Target Group applicants must upload proof of belonging to that specific target group. For target group 1 and 2, it could be a copy of a student card or a print of grades. For target group 3 applicants this could be a print of a medical record or any official documents stating the vulnerable situation of the applicant.
