Eligibility for a scholarship in the Mobility for Life project
In order to be eligible to apply for a scholarship in the Mobility for Life project, please note that you must fulfill academic requirements as well as requirements for eligibility for European/Asian students/staff.
Academic requirements
Applications with a serious statement of purpose will be processed. Students/researchers/academic staff with transcripts of records/diplomas or other documents to show the study level, proficiency in language of instruction and other documents needed for the course or program at the host university, are eligible to apply. Please note that some universities may require a specific language proficiency test such as TOEFL or IELTS (please see program information at the host university you are interested in).
Undergraduate
You are eligible to apply if you have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies. Not all universities have the same requirement, which is why you need to find out what applies for the university(ies) you are applying to.
Master
You are eligible to apply if you have finished your BA studies and have the requested eligibility for the course or program you are applying for. Please study each partner university website concerning the master programme’s special requirements.
PhD
You are eligible to apply if you have completed a Master program or have already started your PhD studies. Some universities have special programme for their PhD students and some special courses that you need to apply for. You need to write 1-2 pages about your research interest and submit with your application.
Post-Doc fellowship
Post-doctorate mobility can be research, training and/or to follow highly specialized follow-up courses. You are eligible to apply if your have obtained your doctorate within the last two years. When filling in your on-line application, please note that you will need to upload an invitation letter from the university that you are applying to. European post-docs must be affiliated with one of the European partner universities.
Academic staff
Academic staff working at one of the partner universities in the consortium is eligible to apply. You need to contact the partner university coordinator if you do not already have a colleague at the host university. Academic staff mobility refers exclusively to training, teaching and/or research activities performed by invited academic staff of partner universities in host institutions which are members of the partnership.
Mobilty of European students
To be eligible, students must;
- have the nationality of one of the eligible European Countries;
- have sufficient knowledge of the language of the courses or of one of the language currently spoken in the hosting country (proof of language proficiency is needed for the application).
- be registered at one of the European partner institutions.
Mobility of Asian students
To be eligible, students must;
- have the nationality of one of the Asian partner countries.
- have sufficient knowledge of language of the courses. (proof of language proficiency is needed for the application)
- fulfill the requirements of the Target Groups
